I am beginning my 44th year of teaching , all in the Woodhaven-Brownstown school District. I will be teaching health and physical education to all incoming 6th graders. I have taught physical education at three other schools in the district, Yake, Bates, and Patrick Henry.
I also enjoy coaching very much and have coached football, basketball and baseball . I am currently the Varsity Baseball Coach at Woodhaven High School, a position I have held since 1973.
I graduated from Hamtramck St. Ladislaus High School in Hamtramck-Michigan where I played baseball and basketball. I was drafted by the Detroit Tigers in my senior year but chose instead to continue my education at Wayne State University where I earned a degree in Physical Education and Social Studies.  I  played  four years on the baseball team and was the captain of the team my senior year. In the year 2000 I was inducted into the Wayne State Athletic Hall Of Fame.
I reside in Trenton with my wife Liz . We have five Splendid grandchildren ranging in age in ages from 13 years to 2 years. Liz and I enjoy spending most of our free time with them  I am very anxious to start another school year, and look forward to working with all  6th graders in my physical education and health classes.
In 2013 I was selected to coach in the MHSBCA Baseball All-Star Senior game at Comerica Park.
In 2015 I will be inducted into the MHSBCA Hall Of Fame for baseball coaches at that years all-star game.
